Pipe bursting rigs
Static or dynamic pipe bursting is a trenchless method used to replace most broken underground pipes, where other trenchless rehabilitation methods are not suitable offering significant time and cost savings.
Bursting rigs ranging from 12 to 100 tonnes can be quickly deployed and set up in excavations, confined spaces like basements, crawl spaces, manholes and tanks.
Our rigs can generate pulling forces of 12 to 100 tonnes, powered by a hydraulic system that can be run from a mini excavator or a suitable hydraulic power pack.
Root cutting equipment
We have invested in specialised root cutting equipment and jetting units, allowing us to remove roots, tap roots and obstructions in pipe sizes starting from 50mm in diameter and above.
JetCam
The JetCam is a combined CCTV Pipe cleaning system with a steerable nozzle including a built in location sonde. The JetCam allows us to use the camera and jet from one access point with only one team reducing cost and saving time.
The combined system allows for cleaning and surveying to be performed simultaneously, enhancing efficiency. It enables the investigation and detection of blind connections, buried manhole chambers, obstructions and in line traps, providing a comprehensive solution for identifying and addressing issues within the pipe network, which can be traced, located and marked out above ground with the hand held receiver in conjunction with the integrated sonde. This combined approach reduces the need for an additional jetting team, improves the accuracy of assessments and efficiency of repairs.
The other huge benefit is the steerability, which means you can turn and steer into laterals and junctions and even over obstacles. This just isn’t possible with conventional crawler and push rod cameras, being propelled and steered by water means that it also cleans as it is progressing along the pipeline.
Grundowinch RW10
The Grundowinch RW10 is a versatile winch used in trenchless applications, primarily for pipe bursting, relining, and other trenchless installation methods. This compact and powerful winch is designed for pulling and positioning tasks, particularly in confined spaces. The RW10 is ideal for replacing or rehabilitating pipes without the need for extensive excavation, making it a cost-effective solution for projects where minimising surface disruption is essential. Grundowinch is well suited for underground utility construction applications including:
- Pipe bursting
- Sliplining
- Pipe pulling
- Sewage lining
In addition, we have a diverse range of fleet vehicles and specialised equipment available, some of which includes:
- Vacuum excavators
- HIAB lorry loaders
- Tipping lorries
- Tankers
- Jet vac recyclers
- Bespoke 4 x 4 vehicles
- Excavators
- Mastic asphalt mixers
- Remote all terrain jetting reels
- Bespoke specialist vehicles
